The Prince of Wales Plans to Join UN Climate Conference in Brazil
The Prince of Wales is scheduled to attend the United Nations climate conference in South America next month, according to royal officials.
Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a reception ahead of the climate summit, which is set to be held in the northern Brazilian city of Belém.
The King and Prince were present at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an rare public appearance together at a pre-COP30 gathering co-hosted by the UK government.
Climate Leadership Dedication
King Charles has been a long-time champion of protecting nature - and Prince William has taken on the baton, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be taking place in South America preceding the UN meeting.
Palace insiders have described Prince William's attendance at the upcoming climate summit as assuming an crucial position in "global climate discussions".

The King and Prince of Wales, arriving together in the royal vehicle, were greeted participants featuring conservation experts, researchers, environmental activists, foreign representatives and government officials.
This engagement included speaking alongside French leader Macron of the French Republic and other world leaders at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in the Principality of Monaco in recent months.

The UN meeting will coincide with the William's personal Earthshot environmental awards, which will finish in the Brazilian city the eve of he participates in the COP summit on the sixth of November.
