The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
